SCHOLARSHIPS
The shakuhachi scholarship program is available to applicants from all over the world with English or Spanish speaking ability.

The program offers partial or full scholarships covering up to 100% of the online study costs for the first cycle of the shakuhachi master course's introductory level, which has a 3-month term. The scholarship can be extended up to 1 year of studies by completing the remaining two cycles of the first level (shoden), depending on the commitment and good academic performance of the student.
The applicant may also receive up to 50% discount on the shakuhachi flute he/she wishes to purchase for practice. Terms and conditions apply, as well as our member and privacy policy.
How to apply for the scholarship program
Candidates must write a cover letter in English or Spanish expressing their interest and explaining why they should be considered for the scholarship program. They must include full name, phone number, email, address, country and social networks. If the application is pre-approved, they will receive a link for a direct online interview with the person in charge of student admissions.
Once the scholarship is approved, the student must attach national documentation from his/her country that identifies and accredits him/her.
This convocation is open until the end of the year. Those selected will be contacted at the beginning of next year.

El programa de becas para el estudio del shakuhachi está disponible para aplicantes de todo el mundo con posibilidad de habla inglesa o hispana.
El programa ofrece becas parciales o totales cubriendo hasta el 100% de los costos de estudios online del primer ciclo de nivel introductorio del curso maestro de shakuhachi, el cual tiene una duración de 3 meses. Beca prorrogable hasta 1 año de estudios completando los dos ciclos restantes del primer nivel (shoden), esto dependiendo del compromiso y buen desempeño del estudiante.
También el aplicante podrá recibir hasta un 50% de descuento en la flauta shakuhachi que desee adquirir para su práctica. Aplicarán términos y condiciones, así como nuestra política para miembros y de privacidad.
Cómo aplicar al programa de becados
El aspirante debe escribir en inglés o español una carta formal presentando su interés y describiendo en ella el por qué debemos tenerlo en cuenta para este programa. Debe indicar datos de identidad como nombre completo, teléfono, email, dirección de residencia, país y redes sociales. Si su solicitud es pre-aprobada, recibirá un link para entrevista virtual directa con la persona encargada de la admisión de estudiantes.
Al ser aprobada la beca el estudiante deberá adjuntar documentación nacional de su país que lo identifique y acredite.
Esta convocatoria está abierta hasta fin de año. Los seleccionados serán contactados a principio del próximo año.
